kletterelsey began her dance training at the age of 8 in Orlando, FL at The School of Performing Arts. She studied ballet under the direction of Russell and Phyllis Sultzbach, while diversifying her studies with Tap, Jazz, and Modern dance. At the age of 14 she was accepted into the studio company Ballet South, where she performed soloist roles such as Snow Queen in “The Nutcracker.”

Throughout her youth training she spent summers studying with faculty of American Ballet Theatre at the ABT Summer Intensive programs in Alabama and Texas. At the age of 17 she intensified her ballet studies with Vladimir Bykov of Central Florida Ballet.

After graduating High School, Kelsey attended two semesters at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland where she was selected to perform an original work by resident artist Armando Luna of The Atlanta Ballet Centre.

In 2009 Kelsey returned to Florida to continue her higher education at Rollins College. There she majored in English, while participating heavily in the Theatre and Dance Department. She studied under the Dance direction of Dr. Robert Sherry in advanced Luigi Jazz technique.

In Rollins’ Fall Musical production of “Cabaret” Kelsey was cast as “Elsa” the Kit-Kat Girl, directed by Broadway’s Kevin Gray and choreographed by Dodie Petit.

While earning her degree, Kelsey worked at Walt Disney World Orlando as a character actress and entertainer.

In 2011, Kelsey accepted a contract to perform at Tokyo Disneyland in the stage show “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On.” She postponed her academic studies to live and work in Tokyo, Japan for 8 months.

Upon return from Tokyo Kelsey finished her English degree while working part-time as a freelance performing artist and barre fitness instructor in the Greater Orlando area.

In 2013 Kelsey was offered an 18 month contract to perform with Princess Cruise Lines Entertainment. There she performed eight different stage shows aboard the Princess Sun Class ships, varying in styles from Ballroom, to Swing, to Folk, and Jazz.

Kelsey returned to Central Florida in the Spring of 2015, where she was offered a position by Walt Disney World Entertainment dancing on the Castle Stage in “Dream Along with Mickey” at the Magic Kingdom.

At the start of 2016 Kelsey made the move to New York City for audition season. Less than a month after moving she secured a position dancing with RWS & Associates in Long Island City, NY for Holland America Line. Once there was promoted to position of Company Manager, representing the collective voice of the performance cast aboard the MS Eurodam.

Kelsey can currently be found living and dancing in Orlando, FL and across the United States. She continues to freelance with renown production companies Hardrive Productions, Metropolis Productions, and StarStudded Entertainment.
